
Lesley Joseph
Lesley Joseph is a research assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of South Carolina and the professor of practice in environmental engineering in the Department of Computer Science, Physics and Engineering at Benedict College, both in Columbia, South Carolina. His research interests include ecocide and severe environmental destruction, along with various environmental justice issues, including disparities in water and air quality, and the impacts of waste management practices on vulnerable communities. He is also the host and producer of the Environmental Justice Lab, a podcast that explores issues related to environmental racism and justice, along with the ways in which communities of color are impacted.
