Mahmoud Naffakh is an investigative reporter specializing in open-source and visual investigations, with extensive expertise in Southwest Asia, North Africa and Europe. He has years of experience covering political violence, armed conflicts, international humanitarian law violations, border violence and disinformation campaigns.
He holds a dual master’s degree in communication from the Institute of Political Science (Lyon) and in data and investigations from the Institute for the Training of Journalists (Paris), along with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from EHB university in Brussels.
His work has been published in leading international outlets, including Le Monde, France 24 and Der Spiegel.
