Sharan Grewal

Sharan Grewal is a research fellow at the Middle East Initiative at Harvard University. He is also an assistant professor of government at the College of William & Mary and a nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. He received a doctorate in politics from Princeton University in 2018. His first book, “Soldiers of Democracy? Military Legacies and the Arab Spring,” was published with Oxford University Press in 2023.
