Germán Cabrera is a self-taught video journalist. Born in Nicaragua and raised in Guatemala, he has documented the staggering violence that has ravaged Guatemala in recent years. He is the subject of the feature-length film “El Metido” (“The Meddler”), which chronicles his life as a journalist by day and auto mechanic by night. He now lives in Texas.
