Florian Neuhof found his way to conflict reporting when he moved to Iraq in 2015 to cover the war on the Islamic State group. Moving back to his native Germany when the Battle for Mosul drew to a close, he has since returned to the region many times. He has also reported from Asia, Africa and Germany. In a past life, Florian was an energy reporter focused on the Middle East.
