Zaynab Al Khawaja
Zaynab Al Khawaja is the daughter of the prominent human rights activist Abdulhadi Al Khawaja. Abdulhadi was arrested and brutally tortured after the protests erupted, in what is known as the Arab Spring in 2011, after which he was sentenced to life in prison, where he remains to this day.
