Tarek Hamoud

Tarek Hamoud is an assistant professor of political science at Lusail University in Qatar and a researcher at the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in Doha. He holds a doctorate in Palestinian studies from the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Exeter in England and a master’s degree in international relations from Kingston University in London. From 2014 to 2023, he managed and led the Palestinian Return Center in London, a nongovernmental organization with consultative status at the United Nations. Hamoud has published numerous newspaper articles and academic studies in both Arabic and English. His research focuses on Palestinian affairs, with a particular emphasis on Hamas, social movements and conflict resolution.
