Scott R. Stroud is a professor of communication studies at the University of Texas, Austin, and program director for media ethics at the university’s Center for Media Engagement. He is the author of “The Evolution of Pragmatism in India” (2023). He co-founded India’s first Center for Dewey Studies at Savitribai Phule Pune University.
