Aslam Farouk-Alli
Aslam Farouk-Alli completed a master’s degree at the University of Cape Town and lectured part time in religion, historical studies, and language and literature. He also holds a master’s in Arabic translation from the University of South Africa. He left the academy to pursue a career as a diplomat in the South African Civil Service. He is the author of numerous articles and has translated three books from Arabic into English.
